About Muse

Mod’rn Muse is the Crisp Hues Design blog – the place where you can keep up on all things Chris Hughes. If you’ve been on the Intertubes for a long time you may remember my original “blog” called Web-Today Destinations. Long before the term blog was coined, Web-Today Destinations was my daily column on interesting Web stuff. It began life at Teleport Internet Services as the child of Lynn Siprelle’s awesome That’s Useful This Is Cool. When I left Teleport I took Web-Today Destinations with me and continued to write and publish it for several years, finally wrapping it up in 2001. Web-Today Destinations was responsible for helping thousands of neophytes  find their way around the wonderment of the ‘net, but once the Web became mainstream the column’s relevance was diminished… and I was sick of writing a daily column. 

Mod’rn Muse isn’t Web-Today 2.0. It’s just my personal blog where you can find out what I’m listening to, reading, taking pictures of, doing, thinking, picking at and obsessing over. I know. Gripping, right? Sure it is. And if you’ve read this far you’re legally obligated to agree. 

So sit back, relax and enjoy Mod’rn Muse. I’ll do my best to entertain you, and if that doesn’t work you’re probably dead inside.
